NO SLEEP TILL PELLO

While living in Pello, I went to see the new Star Wars movie in ”Kunnan kino” at the school auditorium. For some reason, the subtitles did not appear in the film and a couple of schoolchildren in the front row did not understand English, but watched the whole film with satisfaction. Finally, they told each other that it was a great movie. I often tell that story about Pello. There are many others, of course, but I prefer to show my pictures of Lapland. Photography has had an important means of settling in Lapland. The pictures of Lapland have been taken many times before me, but it is important that I can also save them by  myself. In Pello I only lived for a year, and I never know if I will move there again. However, the municipality of Pello and its people always have a special place in my heart. There are no pictures of Pello in this show, but from there I went on a tour of Lapland. So it is no sleep till Pello.
